Marathon 2007 Bukit Gasing 6KM

Wake up 6am in the raining morning. Have a good preparation then I start my journey to ArmCorp Mall. Park my car at RM3 parking place, it just beside ArmCorp Mall.

Meet up with Li Na and her boy friend, Mike at the car park. Walk across the road then register ourself at the temporary set up counter. My lucky number, 685. ;op Wow, a lot people is there already. Walking here and there, warming up, talking, register. All seems enjoying. This is a wonderful morning. We meet up Edmund, Colin and Evanna at the field after we register ourselve. We have a great chit chat.

Yeen Li and Aurther just arrive when the warming up session is about to start. Is a long and hip hop warming session. Two active lady come from Fitnes First is guiding us at the stage to the correct way of warming up our body. The song is hot. The dance is fast. We spend our first active hour with this warm up.

About 7.30am, Marathon session is started by the Open Guy (11KM) follow by Open Girl (11KM) and so on. Finally Novice Woman (6KM) is started at 7.45am.

We take a long run across the housing area, pedestrian bridge, temple. Along the way to the Bukit Gasing Hill, we are followed by a lot of guard. After 1.5KM running, we reached to the gate to climb up to the hill. In the hill, we have to climb up and down, crossing the small river, big tree that are blocking our way horizontaly, walking on the rocky road, slippery way up to hill. We saw a lot of big ants, mushroom, horny tree.

So glad that I wasn't meet with any leeches there. That would properly drive me crazy if i found any. Hahah. We are climbing up and down. The road to the top of the hill is so hard. Some participants were making the jokes that she was being cheated due to the long and terrible condition way up to the hill.

Along the way, we also guided by the sign board, signal and red band.
There are many safety guard located at different location. You definately will feel safe in the hill. The authority also provided two water station. Very thank you for that.

After 1 hour and 45 minutes running, finally i able to meet the final line.
Colin, Edmund, Authur and all the event people is chearing up for us upon the arriving, that is so wonderful and so happy.

Yes! Finally we can make it. It such great achivement for me, as a first time participant. I get the medal from Datuk Ko then proceed to take my 100 plus, power bar and follow by our local famours food, Nasi Lemak as our breakfast.

10.30am, We are leaving from the place.
Anyway, good try and great achivement. It such a wonderful day for me.
